Old iPad 9.3.6 will not connect to Xfinity network

Old iPad will not join network but if you turn cellular on it will join thru another iPhone

@user_h8f1ky Hello and thank you for reaching out via our Xfinity Forums. I would be happy to troubleshoot this connection issue with you. Is this a new issue or a new to your network iPad? Have you tried to forget your network name on the iPad and then do a new search for it?

@XfinityChristy​ this iPad does not give you that option to do that but I hard booted iPad and router with same results 

what is next? It works to because it was on our centurylink network for 20 years

Do you know what specific version of the iPad this would be? I included the link to the Apple website where you can provide the specific model. I am inquiring about the specific iPad model, the iOS version you have is 9.3.6? Thank you.
