Obtaining a 2nd IP address for Arris T25 Modem 2 LAN

I am trying to get an additional IP address added to my residential account. I currently have the Gigabit plan and am using the Arris T25 which has the 2 ports so I can have 2 IPs and use the link aggregation.

My issue is that no one when I call in is familiar with how to make this happen and they keep trying to up sell me to Business plan or telling me to add an additional plan with a 2nd modem.

How can I go about getting a 2nd IP on my current residential account?  I understand that the 2nd IP address is no longer listed on the rate card due to recent phase out but it appears that others have been successful in obtaining a 2nd IP address.  Can anyone please provide information on how to obtain?  Thank you in advance.

I appreciate anyone’s help.

Thanks.

First, check the "Rate Card" for your local area to see if that feature is even available anymore. Seems that it is being phased out;

https://www.xfinity.com/support/rate-card/

It's a PDF.

Scroll down to "Xfinity Internet" and look for "Additional IP Addresses".

If nothing is listed then it's likely to have been discontinued in your local market area.

Option for a second IP address it's not listed. It's a bit disappointing Arris would provide a two Lan modem specifically for Comcast customers and Comcast no longer provides the option to have a second IP address.

This isn't Comcast's fault. The entire IPv4 address range is being depleted to the point where there won't be any left to allocate.

If you're serious about this, you'll have to upgrade to a business account.
