Not Getting Quoted Upload Speed

I just upgraded to the Next Generation 2GB plan from their 1 gig plan where I used my own modem for over 10 years with no issues. With the upgrade I'm using Xfinity's own XB8-T gateway modem in bridge mode as I run a Unifi network. The label claims a typical upload speed of 293 mbps. I'm getting the full 2GB download speed and it's wonderful. But I'm consistently getting 95 mbps on the upload. That's twice what I've gotten for 10 years, but I upgraded plans mainly because the much faster upload. One thing I hate about all Xfinity gateway modems is the assumption in all their systems that you're using the modem's Wifi. It seems that some things require the Wifi be active? I'm wondering if there's a setting somewhere that's limiting my upload speed? In a live person chat with Xfinity support, everything checked out on the modem on their end. But the test they use to verify proper function ONLY tests download speeds. Now I'm wondering if I get a mid/high compatible modem like the Netgear CM3000 or the Hitron CODA56 will that solve my upload speed issue?

Update: An internet search suggested that the issue could be with Xfinity and the XB8 capping the uploads due to some boot file issue due to the gateway being put in Bridge Mode. And that using a modem only device would solve the issue. So I bought a Hitron CODA56 and the same issue exists except that I I'm getting 100-110mbps up vs the 90-95 I was getting with the XB8. Neither is near the quoted 293mbps that I should be getting. Ideas?
