Not getting full advertised speed

Hello, I just upgraded my modem to a Netgear Nighthawk CM3000, which I selected from the approved Next-Gen compatibility list. My account plan is for 2 Gbps down and 250 Mbps up. However, after installing it my speeds are measured at 1.38 Gbps down and 42 Mbps up. After an online search, I'm curious if my modem was pushed the wrong provisioning bootfile. Would you be able to verify that my account has the 'Next Generation Internet' rate codes active and force-push the correct 2000 Mbps / 250 Mbps mid-split bootfile to my CM3000 if needed?

Thank you for reaching out here about your issue with the speed on your service. If you are still experiencing that problem I will be happy to check the provisioning on your service from our end.

@XfinityJohnG Thank you for the quick reply. Yes, I just retested the connection and it's essentially the same (1.4Gbps down and 41.6Mbps up). If you're able to verify the provisioning I would greatly appreciate it.

I will be more than happy to help with your request. To begin, would you mind sending me your name and the address to your account in a Direct message?

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it.
