Not getting anywhere near my rated download speed
I just installed a new Arris T25 modem for 600/15 Mbit service but I don't get anywhere near my rated download speed. I ran some speed tests and got around 30 Mbit down sometimes it would go higher but always < 100 Mbit.
Am I supposed to have 32 downstream channels? It seems like it fluctuates between 29 and 31 downstream channels when I hit refresh on the modem page.
Channels 17-19 seem to have very high Uncorrectables.
I have tried rebooting the modem.
What can I do to get my rated download speed?

Well I contacted Xfinity through online chat and was chatting for more than an hour and got transfered multiple times. One person said to check the modem for compatibility. I checked the xfinity website before I bought the modem. One other person said that the modem wasn't compatible. Finally the last person said I wouldn't get full speed until my activation date when my self install kit arrives. I had told them I already had my own modem and that I didn't need to wait for the self install kit. I didn't know that they had a provisional speed until activation date. Well I'll wait until my activation date of 6/18/20 and see what happens.
6/18/20 got my cable box installed and tv is working great but internet still <100 Mbit. Voice was also activated and working. Tech person said they had to reschedule for someone else to come out to check the line from the pole to the house.

6/24/20 A tech came out and replaced the underground cable to my house but left one end not connected to the utility pole and the other end not connected to my house cables. They said someone else would be coming out to do that part of the job.
7/9/20 Contacted Xfinity via chat asking when someone would be coming out to finish the cabling job. They said someone would call back by the end of the week.
7/15/20 Contacted Xfinity via chat again asking why I haven't got a call back. They said someone would call back by the end of the week.
7/20/20 Contacted Xfinity via chat again asking why I haven't got a call back and then the rep got me scheduled in to get the job completed for 7/22/20.
7/22/20 Tech arrived and finished up all the cabling. He said that the new cable wasn't really necessary but it did make a difference in the modem numbers on the stat page. Speed test gets me around 700 Mbit which is over my rated 600 Mbit. This fix almost took a whole month.
