Not connecting

I am trying to connect my beedroom TV to my WiFi. I When I go to the network page on my TV my WiFi doesn't pop up. When I enter my network manually it says " unable to establish a network." Has anyone had this problem and fixed it?

The two WiFi bands have recently been combined into one with the Comcast gateway devices. Some devices get confused and don't know how to see / talk to combined bands.

If you are not using any Xfi Pods, you can try separating the 2.4 and the 5.0 bands and give them two different broadcast names / SSID's;

Associate the devices with the 2.4 or the 5.0 (whichever one  works) band's SSID (broadcast name) and password.

Maybe your tv is too far from the WiFi source?

Could be your TV is looking for 2.4Ghz WiFi signal and your router/gateway is transmitting a 5Ghz signal, or vice versa.
