No pods. Wifi not accepting correct pw
I don't have any of these -whatever these pods are but suddenly my wifi doesn't recognize my password. I've tried ALL the options listed here - even "forgot" all my devices, re set up my wifi modem (added original 2.4 & 5, went on app to rename & new pw, etc). NOTHING! And i refuse to spend another 2-3 hrs on the phone, being passed on to 4 or 5, or even more "supervisors to assist" me, only to then be disconnected (or even hung up on by one of your phone techs, bc after HOURS of repeating the same [Edited: "Language"] thing, over & over & over, I feel like I'm gonna stroke, & your techie can't stand that I use a curse word - not pointed at them, just as an adjective or expletive, "[Edited: "Language"]! I've already restarted my [Edited: "Language"] modem 10 times!" *click*).
SO... [Edited: "Language"] is going on?? Why is this happening? And how [Edited: "Language"] can I get this fixed?
Signed,

If it's an Xfinity gateway, try to factory default the settings on it.
Really old stuff had a toothpick hole with a button for the factory reset. Press and hold that for 20-30 seconds or until the lights start flashing. Newer stuff cost reduced the button, and just have the WPS button. Push hand hold that for 20-30 seconds until the lights start flashing.
Perhaps the firmware is stuck and it can't download it's config file from Xfinity. It could also be the database at Xfinity you are talking to with the "phone app" is corrupted. Not a fan of this remote arrangement for control of critical infrastructure. Seems to break quite often.
Another one: iPhone especially likes to capitalize the first letter entered into a dialog box in phone apps. If you used a letter and not a number for the first character, try capitalizing the first character on your gear to see if the password matches then.
If it still doesn't work, and maybe you have done it already, physically yank the power cord. (hard power cycle). Wait a minute before plugging it back in to wipe out volatile memory, then plug it back in.
It's helpful to put buggy stuff in a known state sometimes.
