Is the power indicator light lit steadily ? Is it rented from Comcast ? If not, and if so, get it swapped for another. It's probably malfunctioning,

Hello user_4fzhyk, I hope you've been having a solid week outside of this modem light concern. @EG brought up some great points, were you able to confirm any of those? Also, is your connection totally out or impacted at all?
