No Internet

I switched to supposedly the best and fastest internet around. I have had issues for the get go. Our internet goes out yesterday. We call and are told a technician will be out on Wednesday to check it out. 5 days? Really? What do we over pay for?
We use the internet for work, school and home and now we have to go somewhere to get services.

Hello, @user_5j0aa4 thank you for reaching out over Xfinity Forums. Working remotely myself I completely understand the importance of having your home network up and running, and know it can be frustrating waiting for the technician visit when sooner appointments aren't available. Those are scheduled in the order received based on availability, if you haven't already done so I'd recommend signing up for the appointment waitlist: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/appointment-waitlist

After signing up, if something sooner does become available. You'll receive a text notification and then have 30 minutes to accept the new appointment time frame. If no reply is received within the 30 minutes, the originally scheduled appointment will stay on the books. When I've experienced service interruptions at my place and needing to wait for the visit, at times I've been able to find open Xfinity Hotspots to connect to,

This helpful article has more information on the Xfinity Hotspot, the Hotspot Map, and how to connect different devices: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/about-xfinity-wifi-internet
