No internet for over two weeks now!!

On May 15th there was severe weather in my area. During the storm the cable to my house was severed at the connection across the road. It is still attached to my house but now goes nowhere. Also has some torn wires in the middle of the cable so it needs replaced. I got on the Xfinity website and ended up making an appointment for May 28th after chatting with an agent. I told the agent in the chat that the cable was not connected across the road from me. I wasn’t here when the tech arrived and they canceled the appointment and left. Not sure why I needed to be here for an issue that is clearly not in my house. I again tried to find a way to actually talk to someone on the phone from Xfinity. Not sure how one does that, but seems it may not even be an option. When I mention this to others they confirm by laughing and saying, “youre right, you can’t actually talk to an Xfinity employee on the phone.” Seems y’all have quite the reputation when it comes to that. So I make ANOTHER appointment online. I will saying booking appointments online is super easy. You guys nailed that one. Go you. This next appointment is June 6th. 3 weeks with no internet. All because a cable got ripped off the main line in a storm. I just can’t fathom how that’s even possible. 3 weeks. Ridiculous. Done with Xfinity as soon as I find a viable alternative.
