No internet for multiple devices

I just got a gateway (XB8) but it won’t let my phone and a couple of other family members devices connect except for my singular Roku. Need feedback on how to fix this issue

Try separating the 2.4 and the 5.0 names and give them two different broadcast names / SSID's;

Associate the devices with the new 2.4 SSID (broadcast name) and password.

And, or this;

AFAIK, the XB8 defaults to the WPA3-Personal security protocol. Some Wi-Fi devices only use WPA2.

Go into the Xfi app, clicked on connect, then click on "your network ", the "view or edit wifi settings". Change "security settings" to WPA2.

user_45ib3x Thank you so much for stopping in for help with your connection to your new modem. @EG is correct: if you do have devices that depend on one side of the network over the other, the automatic channel steering may be causing it not to pick up the needed network. If you split the networks, that should resolve the issue. Have you had a chance to try splitting the networks?
