No internet connection to laptop and gaming consoles

I've had xfinity for over a year now and at first it worked fine. After a couple months it's started to get a little shotty, we'd have to restart it constantly and it would run very slow. But recently it hasn't been connecting at all to my laptop, tvs, or gaming consoles (xbox and switch). I've been having to use my hotspot to run everything which is rather annoying. It's always worked fine with my phone even now, but on my roommate's phone, it's here and there if it runs slow or not. I've done everything I can think of, restarting the router and modem, unplugging it entirely, switching out cords, relocating it, but nothing is fixing the issue. (We have a netgear router and modem by the way) I'd appreciate any help or solutions!

Hello, @user_Ca29  thank you for taking time out of your day to create a post, and provide all the detailed information. It is helpful knowing you have already done self-help troubleshooting, and see it's what we go over here: https://forums.xfinity.com/conversations/your-home-network/internet-troubleshooting-tips/602dae4ac5375f08cde52ea0.

With having your own modem, have you confirmed it is still on our certified modem list. We have been doing network upgrades, and have seen some updates on the list: https://assets.xfinity.com/assets/dotcom/projects/cix-4997_compatible-devices/2024.03.14%20Full%20List%20of%20Compatible%20Devices.pdf
