Nightly packet loss, download speed variance and constant T3 timeouts.

Every night, on and off for the last 3 months, we have packet loss on our home wired connection. This makes it incredibly frustrating to do anything that requires a stable connection like playing online games or streaming video. We have had 3 technicians out and none have done much but tighten cables, install amplifiers, etc. These technicians do not know what packet loss is. I've asked them.

Downstream power levels, SNR, and upstream power levels (basically all I can check on my leased xFinity modem) are all normal. My connection is fast during the day, but anywhere from 11PM to 1AM the connection completely fails and we experience packet loss ranging from irritating to unusable.

My forum account is new so I went ahead and made an imgur album with screenshots of my T3 timeouts and Speedtest results displaying my packet loss. - https://imgur.com/a/25pC6F2

Some form of escalation would be great.

I've been dealing with the same issue for months now and honestly, good luck. Comcast won't do much about packet loss like this especially if it's intermittent and hard to detect firsthand.

My best advice to you is to either try a new modem with 32x8 channels and preferrably DOCSIS 3.1 to mitigate some of the packet loss, or get a new ISP completely.

It's getting ridiculous. I need some advanced technician out here to check on my line from the road or something.
