New Xfinity Wifi Modem - Blinking White Light on the front

Why is my new white Xfinity Wifi Modem blinking?  There is a white light on the front top center of the modem.  I thought it was a power light.  Now it is blinking.  What is it trying to tell me?

What color is it blinking at the present time ?

As stated in the original post, the light is white.  It is currently blinking white.  It is located at the top-center-front of the new white wifi device from xFinity.
