New Xfinity speeds
I received an email from you saying you've increased our upload and download speeds. According to the speednet test it's still the same. What gives?

I'll be happy to check your area to make sure those new speeds are available generally if you got the e-mail that they have been updated, it could be your equipment that's not updated.
If you own your own modem you would need a compatible modem for the next generation speeds with this link https://assets.xfinity.com/assets/dotcom/projects/cix-4997_compatible-devices/2023.11.22%20Full%20List%20of%20Compatible%20Devices.pdf shows the next generation speed tier of modems that could be used. but let's take a deeper look into your account.
To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://comca.st/3EqVMu7
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it
