New xfinity gateway modem blinks orange light

I’ve tried pretty much everything, all of the troubleshooting guides didn’t fix anything. Unfortunately I only have one coax port In the house so I can’t test that. All signs point to a service visit but the assistant unfortunately doesn’t work.

  • Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send it
