New service only flashing orange, unable to activate

I have been attempting to activate my internet since last week. I have troubleshooted many times, however, nothing has worked so far. The modem continues to flash orange. I scheduled an appointment, however, I was unable to contact a technician. If troubleshooting on my own is possible I will. However, I cannot wait any longer for service and would prefer a technician visit today.

whannah Thank you for creating a post on our Forums, and I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble activating your service. It sounds like the modem isn't receiving a signal, which I would always try testing different coax outlets in your home if available to make sure the tap is active as well. Since it's been a few days from when you posted this, were you able to get this taken care of aready?
