New Router Not Connecting With Work Computer

My old router was recently broken, so when the Xfinity app picked up that there wasn't a connection, it set up a technician visit for me, and he replaced my router with a new one. The service connects fine with my phone and smart TV, but my work laptop is not connecting. It will take a long time to connect, say it's connected, then disconnect, then connect again but indicate "No Internet," so no websites function with it. I've made sure the laptop's VPN isn't active in case it was that, but that hasn't solved it. I've gone through the process of troubleshooting with Xfinity assistant and chatting with an agent, but the issue hasn't been pinpointed yet. Does anyone have a similar experience with just one device not connecting, or is there a way around the Xfinity assistant and agent process to schedule a technician visit? Thank you!
