New router lan ports not working

Xfinity sent me an "upgraded" modem/router. Ever since I set it up about a week ago, the devices that I have connected via ethernet to the LAN ports are not working. I have a NAS attached to 1 port and an Ooma telo (VOIP) device connected to the other port and neither are working. The lights are on and flashing by the ports on the back of the modem/router and on the ports of the devices, but I cannot access them. The devices are not discoverable on my home network, even though the xfinity router admin site says they are active and connected and have ipv4 addresses. I have restarted all the devices. I have factory reset the xfinity modem and they worked briefly (a few hours), but then I have not gotten them to work since. They were working properly for years before the new router.
