New package but getting old plan speed

Upgraded to Extreme Pro+ last November but still getting Performance Pro+ speed up to now. Already chatted with 3 customer service representatives since November to inform this issue. They said they send signals to my modem etc. and I did what they asked me to troubleshoot the problem and still the slow speed persist. What would be the problem? My own equipment is netgear nighthawk ac1900 c7000 and I believe can support the speed of up to 600Mbps. Is it time to request for a technician visit to check the line going to the house?

Some ideas to go over>.>> What type of ethernet cable to you have. Cat5 is old and does not support that, especially over WiFi. You Need Cat5e or Cat6 ethernet cable. Plus not split connections in the cable line. Dedicated cable from pole to Modem. Check your router performance setting, WiFi settings-professional-peformance. Wireless vs wired... wired is always faster!

FWIW, may I ask ? What does an ethernet cable's rating have to do with WiFi ?

@EG I have to explain?? wow! ok---Because if you have an older cable that does not support higher speeds, and wireless connections are slower than wired, then you are definitly not going to see very little, if any improvement on the wireless speed.  It all comes down to bandwidth a cable can handle, as everything eventually wireless has to go thru.
