Your question is not very clear. What devices are you trying to clear? A device cannot be connected to your network without your login credentials. You can pause devices, or you can use MAC filtering to block specific devices if you know their MAC address. Just know that if you block a device that you do not know what it is, you could cause your gateway to no longer work properly. Please post back what devices you are trying to block, and why. Give as much detail as you can.
@user_35ea2d We appreciate your coming to our community for help. In addition to @NoNoBadPuppy response. What type of devices are you trying to remove? I have a link that goes into some steps you can use to remove connected devices at https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/manage-wifi-devices-my-account.
Are you replacing a modem or a combination modem and WiFi/Router? Devices typically connect to WiFi or a wired router. Router /WiFi will find the devices and connect to them, you do not need to disconnect them from old Router/WiFi. If just a modem then it is typically coax in and internet out to router/WiFi.
