New modem, now Ethernet won't work

I just upgraded my Xfinity internet plan, performance to performance plus, and part of that plan was to receive a new modem.

We received the modem last night, and installed it successfully. Wi-Fi is working well, and all wireless devices have connected effectively. However, my personal computer that uses an Ethernet connection is connecting to the internet but at VERY slow speeds. I could not even get the Xfinity speed test to run, but the Google speed test said download speeds were .03 mbps and upload speeds at .20 mbps.

NOTE: Ethernet connection worked fine yesterday afternoon when I worked from home with old router. Even had video meetings.

I have restarted my computer, restarted the modem several times (even unplugged and replugged), changed ethernet cables, did any windows updates, made sure drivers were updated (using wireless connection which is working), verified that my ethernet card could handle 1.0 gbps (shows speed is at 1.0 gbps), verified the Ethernet DOES work on my wife's laptop. I am stumped.

My computer specs:
Intel i5 2.7 ghz processor
8 GB of RAM
Windows 10 (64 bit)
RealTek PCIe GBE Family Controller

Any thoughts on how to fix this? I really need this to keep working from home as effectively as I was. Thanks in advance!
