New Macbook Pro M2 - and Xfinity Fail

Hi there. I am having connectivity issues with my brand new Macbook. All other devices (my older Macbook, other Mac devices) are running perfectly on my home wifi (highest speed service) but the new one (a Macbook M2 Max on Ventura 13.5.2) is barely usable. Wifi connects briefly and then slows and fails. It's almost as if it's looking for other networks. I have tried to remove other networks, update the oS, rebooted the network and turned off auto-join. I do wonder if it's trying to join xfinity wifi (ie the shared one not mine). I am stumped and seem to fall between help from either xfinity or Apple.

I wonder if anyone else has experienced this and has any ideas for resolution?

@user_b4f5d7 I am sorry has Apple provided any suggestions? Is the device registered online to a specific Xfinity user?
