New coax install

Hi, I want to move my gateway from the room it’s currently in to a room where we utilize the internet more. Only problem with that is that there’s no coax in the room. Can Xfinity install coax into the room for me? If so what would it cost, most likely?

I appreciate you providing that information, Scott! I can help schedule an appointment for a technician to come out and install a new outlet in the room. I need to start by sending you a 6 digit security code, would you prefer to receive the code by email or text?

Comcast techs do not do any wall fishing / hiding of cables if that's what you want. For that, you'll need to hire a local low-voltage electrician or an A/V tech. They also refer to a service company that they have partnered with. See this article: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/hellotech-overview

Otherwise, they run the cabling outside of the premises and just drill holes from the outside to the inside to get the wiring in.

It’s sorta what I mean but not entirely? I’m not too sure exactly myself so I’ll give some more context real quick.

The room I want to run coax to is actually on the wall with the splitter that runs my houses coax (to my knowledge. So it could just be plugged into the outside splitter and ran to that room if a hole was drilled through to the the area I want/need.

So I essentially I need someone to verify where my current in use coax is ran to so I can have it swapped with a new line. Then I need a new line drilled into the wall of the house where needed and  for it to be plugged in/tested. I can work out covering the cable, the outside portion of cable, but I need someone to help install the new line correctly.

They can indeed do that. Just contact their customer service reps.

Silly question at this point but how do I do that?
