New 2G service - Upload 6mbps!
Signed up for new 2gig service which quotes something close to 2gig down and 200 up. I was at 700 down / 6 up after install.
Tech who installed said my interior line had something wrong with it and should be replaced. This is a brand new home but I went ahead and had a new coax run done with no breaks or splits from outside box to modem location. Speed after new line run 700/6 obviously not the inside line.
new equipment Netgear CM2000 modem and Orbi router bit rated to handle 2.5 gigs. Getting the usual run around from ‘Tech’ support via chat with no resolution.
Have a tech scheduled to come out this week but I am stuck without enough upload for my wfh situation.
anything I should be looking for on modem logs or anything that can tell me what Comcast is pushing in the way in?

Hello @user_23c71b I hope you are having a fabulous day so far. Thank you for reaching out to Xfinity through our Forums. From what I understand, the 200mbps upload speeds are only available to customers that subscribe to our xFi Complete and use our rental modem. Otherwise, the bootfile defaults to only 100mbps upload speeds.
The 6mbps upload speeds you are getting are obviously nowhere close to that, so I would like to jump into some advanced troubleshooting with you right away. The first thing I want to confirm is that you do have the correct bootfile for your speed package. To get started, please send me a Direct Message with your first and last name, as well as your full and complete address. Here are the detailed steps to direct message us:
• Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Direct Message icon” (upper right corner of this page)
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
• Press Enter to send your message
