Network ping spikes - Upstream Power Level (dBmV) too low according to Arris SBG8300 spec sheet

I am experiencing network ping spikes even when directly connected to modem. Arris spec sheet says I am under the specified range for Upstream Power Level. Not sure what to do.

Acceptable Signal Levels

Acceptable Downstream Power Level

Downstream Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR)
Modulation Downstream Power Acceptable Downstream SNR
QAM64 n/a +23.5 dB or greater
QAM256 -6 dBmV to +15 dBmV +30 dB or greater
-15 dBmV to -6 dBmV +33 dB or greater
Upstream Transmit Power Level

@user_m0a8n9 Thank you for making us aware of this ping spike issue you're experiencing via Forums. I would be more than happy to help figure out a solution with you. So that we don't go over something you've already done, can you please share with me what troubleshooting steps have you completed on your own? Have you by any chance used the Xfinity app to reset the modem? How about a power cycle, have you tried that?
