Network Performance Issue – Severe Packet Loss in Backbone Node

Hello,

I'm experiencing significant network performance issues, including high latency and intermittent connectivity. I performed a pathping diagnostic to identify the source, and it appears there is severe packet loss occurring within the Comcast backbone infrastructure.

Below is a summary of the results:

• Local Network (Hops 1–6): 0% packet loss

• Hop 8 – 96.110.43.121 (be-33632-cs03.56marietta.ga.ibone.comcast.net): 97% packet loss

• All downstream nodes after Hop 8 are impacted, confirming this hop is likely the cause of performance degradation.
