Network damage for months
I have been a customer of Xfinity for less than 6 months, and I have never known any reliable service.
I have dozens of text messages and screenshots from the outage map of almost daily outages. I also want to mention that there have been numerous outages and interruptions to my service where I did not receive a text message even though I am signed up for them.
First it was blamed on network updates, then it was blamed on the network updates not being completed. And then it was blamed on network damage, unexpected repairs, etc.
As of the last 2 to 3 weeks, I have had daily outages. I am lucky to have 10 to 15 minutes of uninterrupted service, and the website thinks that I am only eligible for $5 worth of credits.
I can't find any customer support either. I am told by the AI chat bot that I'm not allowed to receive customer support by a representative until the outage is done, but the issue is that I've been under a perpetual outage for weeks. I reached out to Xfinity over Facebook for help, they sent me a support link which was broken, and whenever I told them that it was a broken link, they began ignoring my messages.
I am having to pay extra money for service on my phone to even type this, and if I worked from home, I would be unemployed at this point due to the constant lack of service.
I'm becoming exasperated by not only the lack of service but also the lack of customer support. This is also the second time I have had to write this forum post, because conveniently my first draft was lost due to an error with the site.
I don't even know what I want from this. There's no customer support and they're just going to tell me to wait for the repairs to be finished, but I don't understand what could be causing daily need for repairs on the network for weeks at a time with no compensation. I guess I just want to know if anyone else has had similar issues and how long it took to resolve, but also if anyone has advice on how to get real customer support for something like this because this is ridiculous.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Can you send us a direct message with your full name, name of account holder (if different), and service address please?
To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
Click "Sign In" If necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon (speech bubble)
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person".
Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it
