Netgear Nighthalk AC1900

I'm replacing my Xfinity modem/router with a Netgear Nighthalk AC1900 which does not have a phone jack. Can I plug my phone line into the computer and still get Xfinity service?

No. You have to have a gateway with the phone stuff built into it

The AC1900 is just a router(notice no cable input),you’ll need a modem too and that compatible device will need the phone jacks

There is a version of the 1900 that has the modem built into it and I’m pretty sure that’s what they were referring to whether or not that would work without the phone connection which is why I said it wouldn’t.

This is the one they’re referring to: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/netgear-nighthawk-dual-band-ac1900-router-with-24-x-8-docsis-3-0-cable-modem-black/4403100.p?skuId=4403100&ref=212&loc=1&extStoreId=1086&ref=212&loc=1&ds_rl=1268652&gclid=CjwKCAiAgc-ABhA7EiwAjev-j9FxQT9O30R7uJt2AF_90RJru5Op7HBIHbff5lS-Bn15iQOo5fpvvRoC1SsQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

What I was saying is they need one with the voice services built on which they also sell a nighthawk which includes that for $299

This one: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/netgear-nighthawk-dual-band-ac1900-router-with-24-x-8-docsis-3-0-cable-modem-black/5787800.p?skuId=5787800

Ironically they’re all called the AC1900...
