Netgear issues with mid-split system or upload speed

I have tried 5 different Netgear modems and modem/router combinations. But nothing worked with new mid-split system of Xfinity.
all the time i was getting 40mbps as max upload. At 5 different locations.

Now i switched to Hitron CODA56 from Netgear CM2000 and it works like a charm.
need to make sure they add Hitron CODA56 only not 5610 in their system. Otherwise it will not work.

xfinity should fix the issue for upload speed with Netgear.

I currently have a Netgear CM2000. This modem was not cheap and should be more than capable of much more upload bandwidth than 40mbps. If I may ask, in which area do you currently have your xfinity account?

I am in San Jose, California. I tested Netgear modems in San Jose and Sacramento. But Xfinity was not able to fix the upload speed issue.
Even one of my friend is using xfinity modem, that didn’t get 100 upload speed.
strange thing is, upload speed is good with Hitron modem.

There are additional requirements for higher upload speeds besides having an approved device, see https://www.reddit.com/r/Comcast_Xfinity/wiki/knowledgebase/next-generation-internet/ and https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/upgraded-areas-leased-equipment-required-for-upload-speeds.
