Netgear CM3000

I recently got an email from Xfinity telling me that I should upgrade my equipment for better performance. One device the email recommended is a Netgear CM3000. However, the CM3000 is not listed on the Netgear website, and Netgear customer support has never heard of it.

Anyone know anything about this mystery device?

It hasn't been released by the manufacturer yet. Rumor has it as the 1st quarter of 2024.

I can't imagine why I got this email either. I have an Arris T25, which is more than enough for the 1000 mbps I'm paying for now. A sneaky approach to get you to get a more expensive tier?

@user_e5cbbc They are rolling out their Next Gen Speed Tier with faster upload speeds in certain areas, but they require a modem that is certified.
