Netgear CM2050V modem

I've had my Netgear CM2050V modem for nearly a year now. It was at the time, and remains, the only modem that gives mid-tier speeds (I pay for 1200 down/200 up) and I've never received received the advertised upload speed. Comcast said early this year that it would soon to roll out a firmware update for this modem to deliver the higher upload speed. BTW, this is the only modem that advertises the high speeds with voice capability.

So nearly a year later and I still do not receive the advertised upload speed. When will Comcast roll out the firmware update? Why is there so little news on this issue? Does anyone know what's going on?
