Netgear CM1200 modem (solved)

So far today I have had nothing but run around with comcast customer service so figured I would try here.
I currently have  1gb service with voice (only got the voice for the discount).  Since last night I was told via chat that they could not activate my new purchased modem due to it being a non voice modem, which is fine, I don't use the voice anyway.  Called again this morning, same run around.  Hung up on twice by the computer, redirected to tech, computer comes online and preforms a modem reset and hangs up on me. 

So question is this, A) will the modem work with the internet/voice package I have  or do I need to drop the voice to have them activate it.  B) Anybody got a direct number to tech support so i can activate it and not have to go thru the blasted automated service!!!

Give this automated device activation line a shot: 1-855-652-3446. Even if the automation fails, you then get connected to an advanced repair representative rather than a tier 1 phone rep. Good luck !!!

finally found direct number to tech support and got it activated, some what lol.  They activated the modem, I had to figure out why it wasn't connecting to internet, but all is good now!
