Neighbor got comcast and now I don’t have internet

I have been a customer for years, no WiFi problems since moving in. Until this morning when neighbors got comcast box installed and now I have no WiFi. I see other posts people saying the same thing. Now I have to wait days for tech to come out, and it’s gonna be on my birthday. Wife works from home so this is a huge inconvenience. Why would they take my wiring and give it to new customer? Ridiculous.
