Hi there, @kpm_d! Congratulations on your new doorbell! I use a lot of Smart Home devices that need the 2.4 GHz network only in my home. The steps below allows me to keep the networks together, but the Smart Home devices will only connect to the 2.4 GHz band. Please let me know if you are able to get it set up or if you need additional assistance. I am happy to help!

  1. On a device connected to your Gateway, open a browser and go to http://10.0.0.1.
  2. Log in to the Admin Tool.
  3. Select Connection, then Wi-Fi.
  4. Click Edit next to 5 GHz.
  5. Select Disable and click Save Settings.
  6. Connect your smart device using its app.
  7. Go back and re-enable the 5 GHz band.

Please create a new topic of your own here on this board detailing your issue. Thanks. The original poster has not returned. 6-month-old dead thread is now being closed.

For future reference, it is better to submit your own post as it creates a ticket to get help, and posting on someone else's older thread can delay getting help.
