Thanks for posting on our community forums, user_2tc7gh. It sounds like you need assistance connecting your smart plug. To set up a smart plug, you’ll just need your Wi-Fi network details:
Network name (SSID) – this is your Wi-Fi name
Wi-Fi password – the same one you use to connect your phone or laptop
Most smart plugs only work on a 2.4 GHz network, so if you have a dual-band setup (2.4 + 5 GHz), make sure your phone is connected to the 2.4 GHz band during setup. If you’re using an Xfinity Gateway, you can find or manage your Wi-Fi name and password in the Xfinity app under Wi-Fi > Wi-Fi details > Edit Wi-Fi settings. You can also split the bands there if you're only seeing the 5 GHz network available. Let us know if this helps.
