First. Check their site for official info on any possible local outages here;

https://www.xfinity.com/support/status

Use a cell phone internet service, a public WiFi hotspot, or a neighbor's internet if you need to in order to check it.

Or you can use their Xfinity App: https://www.xfinity.com/apps

Is / are the light / lights on the modem lit steadily or are they blinking ?

Hello, @user_qivtc8 and thank you for reaching out. I'm very sorry to hear that you've been experiencing an service interruption for the past two days, especially when you're relying on your internet connection for work. I can certainly understand how frustrating that must be. To determine what is causing the interruption and whether there is an estimated restoration time, I would need to review the account and outage information for your specific address. Please send me a direct message with your full first and last name and full service address, and I'll be happy to take a closer look at the outage details and see what information is available. I apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience while we work to get more information for you. 😊
