My WAN has significant signal noise leading to packet loss issues on my local network.

Technician came out and diagnosed that everything is good on my end. All scores were green except for the WAN score which was low in the 50-60s. From my understanding the 2GB upgrades and maintenance in my area has introduced significant signal noise into my local node. Because the signal to my home is technically fine there is nothing else a technician can do and Comcast just says this will resolve. Have had significant packet loss issues for the last year because of the additional signal noise effecting the WAN. The app tells the customer the network is fine when in reality it’s not. Easy reason to switch to another provider with fiber if Comcast won’t address this at all

Thank you for posting on our community forums, user_61h6e2. I completely understand your frustration, especially after dealing with packet loss for this long and having a technician confirm that everything at your home is testing properly. I can see why being told the issue should eventually resolve without a clear next step would leave you considering another provider. We don’t want to simply dismiss what you’re experiencing because the connection appears fine at the time of testing. Let’s take a closer look at the account, the recent technician visit, and what options we have to further address the ongoing packet loss. Could you please send our team a Direct Message with your name and service address? Our team can take a further look at this issue.
