My T25( owned by me) modem resets almost daily at 12:20AM on its own,.

My T25 modem resets almost every night at around 12:20AM. This never used to happen when I had rented modem. Looks like others also are experiencing similar problems. What is the solution?

I am having this problem as well.  Mine will go down sometime between 12:00 AM and 12:20AM and not have any ability to recover.  I have to restart the modem for it to reacquire an internet connection.

It doesn't happen every day -- sometimes every 3 - 4 days, sometimes two days in a row. When it does go down, regardless of when I last restarted the modem or our internet usage, it goes down ALWAYS during that timeframe.

After back-and-forth with both Comcast and Arris and a tech visit to verify any signal issues, I'm of the opinion that it's a trash modem from Arris.  The difficulty is going to be getting them to take it back or I have to eat $200+ loss.

Unfortunately, the "solution" is to get a new modem.  I picked up a Netgear CM1150V and it's been smooth sailing with no down time, less than 30 Correctables, no Uncorrectables, and no outages for 15+ days.

The forums locked my thread where I was planning on giving updates.  Considering Comcast still points people to this dog of a modem (the T25), they clearly don't want to admit they pointed thousands of customers wrong.  Presumably because they'd much rather have you rent their modem.

Looks like I am in the same boat.  My T25 performs great but locks up randomly at night.  I wish I would have known this when I purchased it.  I actually tried the Netgear CM1150V, but it would not work in bridge mode, so I had to get the T25 at a local BestBuy.  Now that I know a lot of folks are having the issue, it is making me a bit angry.

Does anyone have any other resolution outlets or suggestions on how to get my 6-month-old gateway refunded?

I've had this same problem with my T25 since I got it around July.

Sometime after midnight the internet connection goes dead, only way to get it back is pull power on the T25 and then plug it back in.  There's no consistency to when it happens.  It might stay up 10 days, maybe 3 days.

I find it annoying that Comcast locked the other threads on this without ever posting a comment.
