My older ps4 won’t detect my xfinity WiFi gateway
I just moved and got a new WiFi xfinity gateway black and it was installed and the WiFi works for my phone and camera but it doesn’t come up on my playstation 4 at all or my smart tv? I tried to do it manually but it failed I tried to broadcast it with 2.4GHz only and it came up on my ps4 but still failed why?

I am very sorry to hear about the experience with you attempting to connect your smart TV and PS4. Have you confirmed your console is fully updated? Did you get the modem updated to split the wifi as the PS4 needs a 2.4 connection?
