My Modem's internal clock appears incorrect or the the logs I am getting are off by 1 hour.
I have brand new modem provision issue. My old modem had to be replaced today. The speed of me new modem seems to test about half of what I should be getting.
When I login to my new Arris S34 modem and look at the Event Logs the times are behind by one hour. I am on Mountain Time and the logs are showing 1 hour behind me. How can I get this fixed? I am sure it is negatively impacting my modem's performance.
I called Xfinity Support to get this correct and the customer support rep told me to call Arris to get this fixed. I don't believe that but I called Arris anyway. Arris support says no your provider sets the time or sends those logs to you.
Now I am going to post here to see how I can get the time set correctly on my Arris S34 modem. Can someone help?

That's incorrect. Comcast sets the time, not Arris, but if you are in a location that switches to Daylight Saving Time, this is normal. Modems use local Standard Time year round. They don't switch to DST.
