My landlord has NOT installed a coax cable port and Prohibits installation of one

Hi, I just got Xfinity service the other day and I'm trying to set up the gateway and now I simply can't do so due to not having anywhere to hook up the coax cable for the router from Xfinity. What can I do? Different kind of gateway? Router? Or do I just request a refund and go somewhere else?
