My internet keeps crashing

For the past few days my internet has errored out. I am working from home and find this frustrating. I need something more reliable here. I feel like I am getting canned answer from robot.

Is this with a WiFi connection ? If so, as a test, does a computer / device that is hardwired directly to the router / gateway device with an ethernet cable have the same problem ?

With this test, we are trying to isolate this down to being either a WiFi-only problem or a problem with the general connection to the Comcast system which would of course affect both. It's a good first step in troubleshooting before proceeding any further.

Hello, @user_ee1333! Thank you for creating a post about your service concerns. I'm sorry to hear how this is affecting your work, and I would love to see what we can do to help! I agree with our Expert, @EG. A good place to start is determining whether the problem is isolated to just your wireless devices (WiFi), or if hardwired devices also lose connection. It sounds like you've already tried using the Xfinity Assistant for help, which is great! What other troubleshooting have you tried so far?

@jimmyd259

Please create a new topic of your own here on this board detailing your issue. Thanks. The original poster has not returned. 4-month-old dead thread is now being closed.

For future reference, it is better to submit your own post as it creates a ticket to get help, and posting on someone else's older thread can delay getting help.
