my internet has blips at random

I'll first mention i have done all checks on my cabling inside of my apartment.  Everything was already as tight as possible but i double checked just to make sure.

I don't have an exact timeframe of when the blips started to occur because i really just noticed this a couple of nights ago where i had a twitch stream running on my pc and i was surfing on my phone at the same time.  As soon as i saw the twitch stream buffer my phone stopped loading the tab i had opened up which i believe was google.com.  As soon as the stream resumed the phone loaded the webpage.  I counted it for about 7 seconds.  The uncorrectables and correctables have been high like this for months as well so i'm sure things ar just starting to get worse over time.  And the modem lights do not change at all when the blips occur.

In regards to TV, i am not seeing anything wrong with picture quality but i've noticed the remote is VERY delayed at talking to the cable box which in effect slows down every process i'm trying to do and when i choose a channel it has recently gotten noticeably slower to display the show.  The last tech visit i had which was 6+ months ago or so, he had seen i had a very old box that i had from when i first moved in (early 2014) though it was working perfectly fine.  He grabbed an USED non-dvr box and installed it for me.  I would hope using a used box is fine.  I didn't think much about it at the time i was just happy to get upped to a newer model box and it appears to be in good enough shape.  However the delay times from the remote to the box are very slow.  I've read a number of threads which share the exact same issues so i believe the box itself is fine and it's more issues relating to the connection itself.  It is slow throughout the day not just at high traffic times when people come home from work, etc.

My hope is when the internet issues are resolved it will in turn resolve the cable box performance issues.

And to note, ever since i have lived here since 2014, EVERY issue that has occurred has been an outside issue and this appears to be no different.

Thanks

Is the computer a WiFi connection ? If so, for a test, does the computer hardwired directly to the router / gateway device with an ethernet cable have the same problem ?

I hadn't updated in here since but i will note while the blips have not been seen as of late on my internet my cable box/remote response times are still extremely poor.

I have been noting down after my modem reboots how long it takes for the uncorrectables/correctables to go up and i've seen that things remain clear for a few days.  After 3 days or so it goes haywire.  This image is with 5 days uptime.  I've restarted the modem about 5 times ever since seeing these issues and i've always noticed things stay clear for a few days then the numbers will get to this point.

If it's a given after a couple of days after every time i reboot the modem that would lead me to believe it's either some faulty piece of equipment out there on the streets or something else.

The downstream channel SNR's are too low / out of spec. Seem that there is noise ingress into the line(s) somewhere. You should get a tech out to investigate and correct. Good luck with it. Please post back with how things turn out.

i will look to contact them and have a tech visit.  i did not see that when posting the picture last night.  was so focused on the other specs.  today the SNR has gone back to the normal numbers (upper 30s/low 40s).  checking again today the uncorrectables.etc have risen some more.  could ingress noise make the SNR jump all around?

Thanks

i actually didn't realize that when posting the pic.  i looked at it real quick and was focusing more on the other specs but yes whats strange is that is from last night and now today the SNR is back up to upper 30s and low 40s again.  i can't believe i missed that.  thanks for pointing it out.  could the noise ingress cause the SNRs to jump all over the place?

Yes. It's directly related. Noise on the line equals lower SNR's. A clean line equals higher SNR's. There is something intermittent going on. A tech with his signal meter should be able to narrow it down.

Bear in mind that if the premises facing techs can not find or fix a problem at your home, it is they who are responsible for escalating it to their line / network / maintenance dept. techs. The problem may lie beyond your home in the local neighborhood infrastructure somewhere but it is their S.O.P. to start at the home. Good luck with it ! And please post back with how things turn out.
