Great question @user_3p9o1w, yes, you can use a mesh wifi, you'll just want to ensure that any equipment you purchase is compatible.

Excellent question @user_3p9o1w

To integrate a mesh WiFi system with your Xfinity setup, you typically disable the WiFi on the XB7 gateway and connect the primary node of the mesh system directly to it via Ethernet. Then, you can place additional nodes throughout your home to extend coverage. This setup allows the mesh system to manage the WiFi network while still utilizing the XB7 gateway for internet access.

Just ensure that your mesh WiFi system is compatible with the XB7 gateway and follow the manufacturer's instructions for setup. If you encounter any issues, you can always reach out to us for assistance.
