My front door ring wont connect

Got a new front door and wont Connect..

Congratulations on your new door, user_bmsh38. Is there an error message or code you're receiving when connecting your device? Are you using an Xfinity Gateway, or, your own modem?

I just unplugged everything connected to the modem and I was able to connect my front door unit! read that in the forum discussion! he had same issue as mine and that is what he did and BINGO!
