My Experience with XB7
Computer: Motherboard Gigabyte AORUS. RAM 64 GB Corsair Vengeance. Processor Core i7-7800x LGA 2066. Old gateway, black tower xfinity gateway. Windows server 2019. Internet Surfing worked perfectly. Wipe out and installed Windows 11 Pro. Worked very good. Speeds 600 Mbps. Download speed from Battle Net up to 42 MBps! Capital B. Here comes the time of changing the gateway because Comcast wanted so. Ok, they come , they change it, it works good for 12 hours, then, in the middle of the night they restart it. And it starts to work bad. Wow ! Videos on youtube are buffering. Speak with xfinity Assistant agent. We have detected low signal and we sent refresh signals and they couldn't come back (If I understood well). We will send a technician. Here he comes. 4K60p videos works without any hiccup. But only after they restarted my gateway and this time the technician and me found it in BRIDGE MODE !!!!!!!! And using one public IP address !!! No more router ! He restarted it in normal mode. After we watch like 10-15 minutes of a 4K60p video on Youtube working perfectly, he leaves. Next morning, the same. Buffering. Speed testing: it drops to 300 Mbps !!! Later in the day, it drops only to 500 Mbps +. Better. Some 4K60p videos still buffering. Speak again with an agent. He will send a master technician to check the signal on the pole, because he detected weak signal on the pole. OK. Appointment scheduled. Meanwhile, video starts to work better in the morning of the visit. No one came. But still, network work somehow sluggish. I use hardware acceleration: disable - restart - enable again. It seems to have some effect. Also in Group Policy I limited the maximum reserved bandwidth used to 20%, from 80% normally. Some good effect. Still sluggish. Changed DNS servers, in settings, with public ones. Including IPv6 DNS servers. Nothing. Using many Times Razer Cortex optimizer. Optimize - Deoptimize - Optimize again. Wow - working very good. After next shutdown - restart - about the same sluggishness. Since my network card is an Intel 350-am2 dual, I disabled the one which had the cable and put the cable in the other one. Maybe the old one got damaged ? Same sluggishness. Then I remembered that my motherboard has 2 network cards on it, not recognized anyway by Windows Server. So, go change the cable into the 5Gbits/s one and enable it in BIOS and enable it in control panel. It worked. Tested speed ? 920 Mbps !!! Wow, I never saw something like that. Since yesterday since I changed the network card with one that supports MORE than 1Gbps, things are working fine. Even in Amazon Prime app, movies are displayed fantastically fast compared to previous. I thought my processor was too weak and I have to replace it. $2-300 on eBay used but good. But no, the processor is good. Video card is an RTX 3060 with 12GB RAM and it worked even to 60% when playing 4K60p videos. Conclusion: I will have to throw out a good dual server network card, 1 Gbps. It's not good enough anymore.

I forgot to say: while experienced sluggishness I've got Flex. Guess what: it worked perfectly with 4K60p videos. Even through Wi-Fi. Imagine my despair.
