Multiple T3/T4 Timeouts Causing Frequent Internet Outages Causing Modem Reboots
Just like the subject line says, I am having multiple reboots due to these errors and the result of those modem reboots are changing my modems's password to an unknown one which forces me to do a factory reset. I own my Arris SB8200 so Comcast has no reason to push a password change into privately owned device. I have been trying to call for an explaination for the past hour but after my first call, the automated system asked me if I wanted to speak to an agent I said yes and then it hung up on me. Now it says there's an outage in my area and it kicks me out. It is beyond angering. I Need answers about the outages and the password issues. I already know the Arris pushed an update changing their default password...that doesn't work until I factory rest my modem which I do not want to because I save my event logs for when I finally had enough of this poor service and have break this contract without paying a termination fee. What I need to know is why can't I access my Arris SB8200 modem!
