Multiple outages every day now. Useless for working from home. Annoying when watching movies in the evening.

Xfinity has been going out multiple times a day for weeks now (Niwot CO). This is nothing to do with my router or coax. I've done every troubleshooting step and myself and my neighbors all work from home and it's been the same experience for all of us, at exactly the same times. I have a UniFi Dream Machine router and can see every Xfinity outage in detail in the logs. It's actually down right now. I'd say 80% of the time it's down for less than 10 minutes and isn't even reported on the outage map, but that's enough to have us all disconnected from our online meetings and scrambling for cell phone hotspot setups. I've DM'ed Xfinity Support on X/Twitter simply asking if they know why it's happening. If they don't or won't explain it, I think it's time to move to Starlink. I'll take 30% of the speed for 99.9% uptime vs this.

Pity I can't post screenshots of my dashboard here.

Interesting. Outage map now shows this.

Technician in your area

To make sure your XFINITY services are performing optimally, we'll be doing some work in your area today. While we're working, you could experience brief interruptions to your service. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by our work.

The lack of detail is extremely frustrating. What's being done? When will it be finished? Fine if timeline is wobbly, but "doing some work" tells me nothing. I get more information out of a barman when they're changing kegs!
