Multiple Commercial Power Hits - Millions of Errors on Multiple Downstream Channels
Xfinity,
My sub-division took multiple power hits yesterday (Sunday) and now I'm seeing multiple downstream channels receiving millions of uncorrectable errors. Speed has also slowed. I am in the Ranson, WV franchise area.
Downstream Bonded Channels | |||||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Channel ID | Lock Status | Modulation | Frequency | Power | SNR/MER | Corrected | Uncorrectables |
33 | Locked | OFDM PLC | 690000000 Hz | 0 dBmV | 42 dB | 3012368951 | 0 |
40 | Locked | QAM256 | 627000000 Hz | -1 dBmV | 43 dB | 1415077 | 642678 |
41 | Locked | QAM256 | 633000000 Hz | -1 dBmV | 42 dB | 129502168 | 232875757 |
42 | Locked | QAM256 | 639000000 Hz | -1 dBmV | 42 dB | 12193750 | 31679317 |
My equipment including the cable modem is protected by multiple UPS units and did not take a hit. Just as a precaution, I've power cycled it twice in 24 hours, checked for loose connections in the house and nothing's changed. The above snapshot shows accumulated uncorrectable errors over ~30 hours.
Thanks.

If someone performed a fix action, thank you. Looks like for now, the issue appears resolved. Uncorrectable errors have been at zero for about 18 hours at this time.
